since nobody has posted it yet - you don't need to drop the tank to remove the fuel pump. there's an access cover under the rear passenger-side seat. saves a LOT of effort, and the pump can be changed on the side of the road (i know, that's where i changed mine). i bought a japan-made pump at my local parts store for $78.50.
i'd put a stock exhaust on. everything fits, and it can be done for less than $500 for everything, including the cat and shipping. see my "maintenance thread" for details/info. the gains in "performance" by changing the exhaust only are minimal, so why add to potential problems?

Thanks! I did find out about the fuel pump panel. Good idea on the exhaust, I'm just not sure yet. However it will be a bit before that repair, so I have time to do the right thing.

I like the chromes, too. Not too fancy. Altho, I don't like non-functional chrome like the wheel-well, rocker panel and windshield trims so I removed mine.

Ok so question... I was getting ready to order my ARB 2"+ lift and then realized they don't show a shock for a IFS lift. Who ordered what and from who? Please give a recommendation as I can't seem to find one online for some reason. Thanks all!

Ordered a front and rear bumper from Blue Lake Offroad today! Looks roughly like this:

Funny thing is that's the only rust practically on the truck! Guess that's what happens if barely used. Anyway I bought a new fuel pump and I'm gonna either coat the tank or replace it.

AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
The new fuel pump and screen did NOT fix it. Once it's warmed up sputter away till it dies, over and over!
Any ideas???

Ok so update!
This time I did use the dealership as a friend of mine is the shop manager. Anyway he did all the labor free and only charged me cost on parts!
The wires into the distributor were bad internally so we replaced those. The knock & O2 sensor are throwing codes as well so I'm gonna replace those. Pepe is running much better now.
Our rear leaf springs came in but nothing else to install them.
Balancing the new tires this morning and then new exhaust if everything goes well. Pepe is a DD now so praying things hold out. Drove him to a job this morning.
