Want your advice...

Vinyl flooring or "Rhino" liner???

Plan on using this pretty good "like a truck" so keep that in mind. My thinking is Vinyl will probably require occasional removal and cleaning underneath. Liner wouldn't need anything, but if repairs were needed in Honduras this could be harder? Vinyl is cheaper and easier to install as well.

Those are tastefully made bumpers. Not over-the-top at all. Please let us know how user-friendly to install.

A rigid plastic liner would be more difficult to remove if necessary.

I use min like a truck , too. IF I had to refinish my rear deck, I would:
(1) Use spray-on bedliner to make it low maintenance, hardy, and easy to dry if flooded. Then,
(2) Place anti-fatigue mat on top of that for added soundproofing and cushioning IF sleeping on it. Yet still easy to remove for cleaning or drying.

I have the original vinyls floors in mine. They are in nearly perfect condition. I love them. One benefit is that you can put Peel n' Seal insulation under it. I think black bed liner would be terribly hot. I did find some gray bed liner on Amazon at one point that can be brushed. It's a matter of what you prefer.

I'll keep y'all posted on the bumpers. They aren't suppose to be ready till late Jan. as of now.

Well everything told me I did NOT need new u-joints, but that's NOT true. The OEM's are too short and the nut popped off. Guess tomorrow I'll be going from Auto part stores to round up 4 longer ones. He's going to be tall though!

Well that totally sucks! I have already experienced big delays from them. I'm gonna send them an email today and ask for a refund. If they won't I guess I'll just have to deal with it and move on. Huge bummer to hear this. Thanks for the info though.

EDIT: Assuming they won't refund me I may be ok still because I'm doing the welding. They are just shipping it as a kit and based on reviews welding bad was the big complaint.

You mean U-Bolts right? The auto parts store should have squared ones, same thickness, thats the route I went when I added leaves to the pack. If you are getting them from Autozone or advanced auto make sure you don't use those lock washers that come with them, and either use different washers or (I can't remember) there is a chance the original nuts from your original u-bolts thread on, and they are far superior.

Yes u-bolts is what I meant. I bought some from Auto Zone, but I'm going to order OME's and swap out later because these seem a little weak.

Yeah, I was biting my tongue on this one. Read about them here recently and decided not to go with them, then saw you already bought. If they do a good job with you, I might bite.

I really love the design.
