Just thought I'd share a pic of our new TE. We took delivery of it last Friday and after swapping out the Dunlop AT20s for Firestone Destination ATs at a local Belle Tire shop, we immediately took it to our detail shop to have POR15 applied to the undercarriage (a three day job, to do it right) and paint sealant applied to the...paint. Four days after taking delivery, we finally got it home this afternoon. As we live on a dirt/gravel road, silver is the color that made the most sense. I intend to keep it stock, other than the bug (stone) guard and bodyside moldings. As my wife is petite, I ordered it with running boards to accommodate her (marriage, at least the successful variety, is about compromise). After we order Husky floor liners and Canvasback seatback/cargo covers, my hope is to be able to afford a gallon of gas.

With a Wrangler, a self-contained, off-road camper and now a 4RTE in the garage my intent is to continue to hunt and camp well away from the crowds.:hunter:

Congrats!!

I fully intended to stay stock with regards to the suspension until I loaded it with my family and cargo and did a rough trail. Too bouncy and too much bottoming under those conditions. Otherwise I would have stayed stock too. Plenty capable as is.
 
Thanks for the kind comments. She's definitely all that, and a bag of chips. Hoping to get 200,000 miles out of her.
