Of course, we all know why he is doing this fake war threat...his calling in life (aka Obamacare) is failing at every corner of the country. What better way to divert attention away from his failure than to fake another war??

Obama is not stupid...Syria ain't Ethiopia...Syria has serious firepower. It is a civil war and our act of aggression will be treated as such by UN.

My only critique on this is when you said "divert attention away from his failure".... you used "failure" in the singular version. Sadly, this guy needs to divert us from his latest failure about once every 6 months;
-Benghazi
-IRS targeting conservative groups
-Obamacare
-Losing Edward Snowden to Russia
-etc.

the list goes on and on and of course this is only the stuff we sometimes hear about.
And by the way, Christie is definitely not the answer; when he bear-hugged Obama for the $60 billion hurricane Sandy relief bill, it had more pork in it than Christie's fridge; he's not a real conservative.
I'd say some of the promising young leaders in Congress today are Paul Ryan, Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz.

Well, i was being nice.ray2:

Ted Cruz is great and all, but the guy does not bend...waaayyy too hardcore conservative. I like it...i am conservative too...but that also means that he won't compromise...like Obama on the other end. In other words, he would make a poor President (as is the case with Obama). We do need someone who is conservative but also flexible enough to hear the other side's case. Rand Paul is just too weird IMHO.

I love those two guys as my state representative and all...but as President, i am not so sure.

Paul Ryan is really my hope. But, to be honest, i have not followed politics much after the election...i have not researched much into Paul Ryan.

The two-party system will be the downfall of this country. Every 4 years people are given two crappy choices....two clowns that don't really represent the views of the average American at all. Yet we follow along like sheep.

I do think that there are smart and honest people that voted for Obama based on their opinions of what this country needed. Although, I think that most of his voters were the lower class who wanted handouts from him.
