So while I was pulling my overhead console today to see how much room I had to mount some auxiliary switches I broke one of the plastic tabs that holds it in place. Not the white ones on the rear side, but one of the two black plastic tabs that mates with the metal clips into the roof. And both metal clips stayed up inside the frame and I can't find them to get them free.
Has anyone had this happen before and how did you fix it?
I'm assuming I'll need a new console. So.... Does anyone who has done the homelink / GX console upgrades have their old one available? I have the "fawn" interior (tan) on an 05 Limited with sunroof and homelink.
If I can't find one through the group then I'll have to cough up the $80 to get one through partznet or ebay or see if I can get ahold of a GX one to do the swap.
