Hey guys! I have a problem I was hoping someone could please help me with. It all started a couple of weeks ago when I put some side mount posts and terminals on my front battery. After I was done I didn't tighten down the battery bracket. Well the next time I drove it I was taking off from a stop light and the battery slid back and grounded out. The truck sputtered and almost died but didnt and I pulled over. I recognized the problem, fixed it and went on my way. Well the next time I drove it, after about 30 mins of driving I was at a stop light and the vehicle just died. I tried to start it right back up and it wouldn't stay running. It would just start and run for like a second then die immediately. All the gauges were good and everything seemed fine under the hood. Well after sitting for about 15-20 minutes it fired back up and I drove off. After cruising for about 10 minutes it does the same exact thing and takes the same amount of time until it fires back up. Now thats all it will do is drive for about 10 minutes and die, the sit for 15-20 before it will start again. And while its sitting the hood has to be open or it will take alot longer for it to restart. Anyone ever heard of anything like this or have an idea what my problem my be? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! The vehicle is a 95 and its a v6.
