Page 559, fuse #5 Sub Batt; 30a, Trailer sub battery

Does this fuse charge my travel trailer battery while hooked up and driver?

Had too many instances when RV battery was completely dead. Been re charging at home prior to trip but this time did not charge it and ended up with a dead battery.

Dealer doesn't know what in talking about. Do you guys know?

Does this look blown?

No idea from the pic if the fuse is good or not ( could put a volt meter / check for open-closed circuit across the fuse terminals). Could do the same with and without fuse installed checking for continuity/power at trailer connector. If you can confirm that, then you need to check that your trailer is wired to accept that. Note that 30 amps ~400 watts could possibly trickle charge a 6cell 12V lead acid battery, but it will take a long time if the battery is dead. You would obviously want a trickle charger on your trailer battery for this to work. My guess is that the trailer isn't setup for this, but only you can tell us that.
