Hello Everyone!
Normally I would take this to the shop and have them fix it. But not having the same job as I used to tend to make me resourceful these days.
My 1998 Toyota 4runner with 150k miles started shaking and the check engine light lit up. Last time someone else replaced the plugs, wires, injectors for #2 was 3 years ago. I now replaced the iridium NGK plugs (single prong) to the correct 2 prong ones (per engine sticker and manual) but still shaking. I am now wondering if the aftermarket wires 5mm silicone are to blame. I wish I had kept the original ones. I also bought a used ignition coil and tried it with each cylinder but that did not work as well.
I have read other posts but their situation is a bit different, hence the reason for a new posting.
