P0306

Cylinder 6 misfire, checked the spark plugs, wires, coils, going to check the injector which I think is the reason for the misfire hoping to fix it next week. Anyone else experience this before? P0306 code misfire cylinder 6?

I just had it but it actually went away by itself. I think mine is due to bad gaskets on the spark plug tube causing the plug to get wet.

If you check your injectors, swap # 6 with a different cylinder, clear the code, then see if it appears on the other cylinder.

I hear Witch Hunter works miracles on the injectors. Good luck.

Thanks man I'll try that. Can I purchase this Witch Hunter at like Autozone or O'Riley's? I got the new injector so I'm just going to throw the new one in because I do smell gas and it seems like it make me coming out a bit, I'll update this when I take it in thursday.

Sorry, Witch Hunter is a company in WA that cleans and rebuilds injectors. Did you buy an OEM injector? If not, I'd return it and send all 6 of your injectors out to Witch Hunter. $21/each, hard to beat having like new OEM's for that price.

Yeah I got an OEM one for $130 just did some research and found that out sounds like a good deal too.

So I ended up trying a 20 oz bottle of Techron injector cleaner and so far no issues, I'll update this in a few days to see if that did clean the system or if I really do have an injector issue. I figured I'd give it a shot and it has been running fine so far.

UPDATE: So it ended up being a bad injector now it's running like a champ!
