I've got a 2002 with 132K miles. I got the P0446 code read from two places. I know there are a couple things that can be the culprit (charcoal canister, VSV valve etc).
Here's a couple things that happen that I hope someone can help me pinpoint the exact cause:
1.) When I disconnect the battery to try and temporarily clear the code, the CEL, VSC Trac, VSC Off lights immediately come back when I start the car (Some folks have said it goes away for awhile).
2.) When I'm pumping gas I swear the gas nozzle is more sensitive and wants to keep shutting off. I have to squeeze the trigger very lightly to get it start pumping.
Thanks for any ideas. I would just try the charcoal filter but from what I've seen online it's close to $400! Thanks
