Today, driving my truck threw check engine light. First one and only one was p0303. Cylinder 3 misfire. Pastside coil. I swapped that coil with cylinder 1 coil. Started it up, seemed to run like shit still. Cleared the code shut the engine and started driving. Then all of sudden it seemed fine again. Drove home about 10 miles or so. Idling in the driveway. It threw 2 codes. One was p1300 and the other was p0303.

I had extra coil packs laying around. Swapped it around it. Nothing changed. Then after clearing the code it seemed fine but still at idle it seemed little rough although no CEL code. Went to aurozone and got new spark plug wire set. Go to change them I checked all spark plugs. They were bone dry. However cylinder 4# he spark plug boot had little bit of oil on it. Maybe my valve cover seal is going to shit. Anyways, replaced all the wires. Let it idle for 30 mins. Seems a lot smoother and better then before.
The old spark plug wires were NGK blue ones. Not 100% sure but about 2-3 years old. Seems to soon for it to give me issues if that's the actual issue.
Spark plugs are OEM Denso dual ground. Probably 10-15k on them.
Checked oil dip stick. It was clean, checked radiator. It was topped of. No coolant was coming out of the exhaust either.
So my question/ concern is... is it possible for spark plug wires to cause this ? Because I'm little skeptical that the NGK wires would go to shit so fast. Or maybe it's something else. But changing the coil pack would have caused the other cylinder to misfire if it indeed is the coil.
