P2443 Code Still After Valve Replacement

After changing spark plugs, my 2015 was throwing a P2443 code. So I found an OEM driver side secondary air injection valve on ebay and installed it. However, I am still getting the code at cold starts. Anyone else experience this and what was your course of action?

I’ve had the valve break internally and replaced it with OEM.

More likely cause is a wire pulled or loosened from the back of plug. I’ve had this happen twice. The Toyota harness plugs are shit and wires easily dislodge from them. They do sell pigtail replacement plugs on Amazon. You will be cutting wires from the original plug and crimping them to the pigtail plug. Take a pic of the original plug so you know which color wire goes where.
