PA/NJ 1997 4runner 2.7 4x4 auto project for sale 1,000.00

Selling my 1997 4runner it's a 2.7 4x4 auto has 260k on the clock. I purchased it 3 months or so ago drove it home 45min drive. Trans shifted fine enigine runs great beside loose front end. No check engine lights during the drive home. Interior is a little rough (dirty) frame is in excellent condition no rust, body parts have no rust.

Issues that I know;
Front end loose, (included with sale is complete set of upper and lower control arms new not installed)

Exhaust leak, (new Oem 99-00 style exhaust header included with sale not installed) will need to buy cat back portion of exhaust.

Valve cover gasket replaced, spark plugs replaced, power steering fluid flushed.

My plans where to fix this 4runner but later found a 3.4 4x4 manual 4runner. Don't need 2x4runners.

Selling for 1,000.00 to recoup my total cost. If in 5 months it dosnt sell I will then part out but not now.

If I was anywhere near the east coast I would. That motor alone is worth near $1500 out here.

The 30 yr old 22R in my 84 with only 175K must be worth millions out your way

Yup. Demand is high. When I was searching for a donor for my swap, I was considering a 3rz truck that had been rolled five times and the guy still wanted $2000 for it because he knew guys wanted the motor.

If there is a need for a swap value goes up if you have no need for a 2.7 swap value goes down. Like everything else I've checked ebay these so called JDM engines with 100km asking 1,500.00 just for the 3rz engine. I'm not saying my price is high or low I just want 1,000 to recoup my cost if not I'll keep repair when I have more time. Lol
