I don't know if I am overlooking it or not but I have not seen a paint and body section on T4R.org. Most automotive forms I have seen have a paint and body section would there be any need for one here?
I have been in the industry for 21 years I started out working in a mom and pop body shop in high school then went and got my 2 year degree in collision repair from a technical college. 15 years ago I was in a accident and permanently damaged my back to where I could no longer do production work on a daily basis so I moved to the paint and body supply end of the industry. I am in management for a company that supplies paint, sandpaper and equipment to body shops. We also have a good walk in retail section which has its perks and frustrations
I will still paint motorcycles on the side for people I know and do some minor stuff to reagular cars and trucks but not hard collision repair. I enjoy painting more than anything and motorcycles are small and usually fun to paint.
I do enjoy sharing what I know with people who are willing to listen. I don't claim to know everything by any means but I am willing to help where I can. I would also venture to guess on a automotive form this size there are other paint and body people who would be will to help those who have paint and body questions.
