Paint protection

So everybody has this problem, rock chips and paint nicks in the rocker panels. Esp. those who have knobby tires. And myself I have a rock driveway so it makes it worst. I am in the process of saving for a paint job and rims. I will be switching to 15x8 rims and 32's eventually. But i know the wide rims and tires is gonna eat my paint up. And with having spent money on a new paint job i don't wanna mess it up. My thing is i need ideas to save my paint. Yeah i know i could just not get bigger tires and all but that'd be to easy. And i dont like the look of fender flares. So I would like to hear some ideas for paint protection. i have seen the 3m clear paint protection film and have given deep thought to line x or something along those lines. So any ideas, write-ups, pictures and advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jhacker

See my build thread. Somewhere about half way through it I did Monstaliner on the rocker panels. It holds up great and looks pretty good imo.

If your going for a street queen look idk good luck let us know what u did to keep it clean lol

Rambler status paint = rhino line herculine and call it a day

Fenders and mudflaps aren't there just to protect your paint, they're there to prevent road debris from flying up and hitting you or other cars and they keep the water spray down when the roads are wet so the cars next to and behind you can see. They're safety items, not fashion accessories.
