Paint troubles!

It all started when a bird crapped on my car! I didnt think nothing of it so i left it there till its next car wash. Now the paint is chipping!! Anyone know how to fix this problem or have some experience dealing with this?
Here are some pictures..

The last pic is another spot thats starting to chip!

I wonder if a good coat of wax would have protected it.

There is also a chance it was going bad anyways and this is a cooincidence.

Maybe so. I just need to find a way to fix that problem ASAP! Do you have any advice?

Yeah go to a body shop and get a quote.

If you have friends who paint then call them.

There is no secret forum code or method for painting. Either you know how to do it or you pay someone to fix it.

And personally I'd put a coat of Meguires Tech Wax on the whole truck right away. That bird may come back.

Wow, that bird must've been a hurtin' buckaroo after he pooped out whatever did that to your paint, like the others have already said, don't mess with it, just get the area fixed at a body shop ASAP, once the clearcoat starts peeling, it doesn't stop.

I am no paint pro but I would say this.

Hit up a paintless ding repair guy. They will probably wet sand the area very lighty to smooth the edges and get off any flakes. Then apply a few coats of wax and buff it real good. It will not "fix" the issue but it will blend it in and make it less noticeable as long as you keep it waxed/buffed.

If the paint is all the way gone, disregard that statement. I thought just the clear coat was damaged.
