I tried it and it worked.
Were you able to play audio through itunes as well as get the audio from video playback??
In most cases even if Bluetooth sees other devices and connects you won't be able to do anything without the proper software. I've found that Bluesoleil works well to do most things. It costs $27.99 but you can get a free version from Meritline.com that comes with one of their 99 cent dongles. I'm not sure if there is a Mac version though.Anyone else had any luck with this? I tried this again the other day as I was sitting in the car for awhile and wanted to watch a video.
The macbook would say it had connected, the car stereo just kept saying 'searching'. I canceled the search and it seemed to be connected.
Now the problem is I only seem to get audio when itunes is playing. I can get both music from itunes and audio from a video in VLC at the same time, but if i try to pause or quit itunes the audio stops.
Frustrating problem. I was able to get it to work by simply turning down the sound in itunes and keeping it playing, but I would prefer a better solution.
