Pandora + Entune question (Skips)

Did a search and could not find what I wanted to know.

I have a 2016 Limited. Set up my Pandora via Entune.

Edit: I have an Iphone 7

So using either BT or the Aux and controlling it via my head unit. I have limited Skips (I have the Plus version, so I should have unlimited skips).

But if I run Pandora from my phone, I have unlimited skips. So my account is OK

Since its accessing my acct, I don't know why I would have limited skips.

Is this normal? Is there a work around? Or am I just doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance!

so you run pandora with your BT turned off and you have unlimited skips, then you turn your BT on and you have limited skips?

Also, you have limited skips with aux in? Do you also have limited skips with headphones? If you start playing pandora you have unlimited skips, but when you plug the aux cord into the headphone jack you have limited skips?

So with the pandora app off, Blue Tooth on, no wire plugged into my phone. Using the Entune app to connect to the 4R and Pandora. I have limited skips.

Same if I have BT on and plugged into the AUX jack.

BUT, If I launch Pandora from the App (either wired or BT) it overrides Entune (and the screen will not show whats playing, only what was playing) I can control Pandora from my phone and have unlimited skips. But for a host of reasons, I'd prefer to control it via my car.

Same account and play list's, so it should work.

This happened to me in my new 18 limited, but after a few days, it fixed itself. I’m still having trouble with frequent “insufficient connectivity” messages when directly linked via usb. Hoping that fixes itself too.
