Still a correct one though.
I've said this a lot but I'll say it again.
The PCK should be a must have for any lifted rig. It greatly improves the handling of the rear of the vehicle and also returns you to stock geometry.
Do it.
Yes.
(but don't take my word for it)
in all seriousness, I designed the pck for folks like you and I who have 2-2.5" of lift. the core of the kit is the axle-side bracket which lifts the panhard 2" - the frame side bracket is for the rest of the planet that likes 3+
I remember it took an enormous effort to get the pan hard bar bolts to line up.Any suggestions?
Get a real alignment. There is no such thing as a proper Firestone alignment...I also find a slight pull to right with proper alignment from Firestone.
What is the ideal positioning of the panhard bar when the truck is level? Does it need to be horizontal or slightly lower than that?
I have a 2 in lift and attached is a pic of my panhard bar. Will it be beneficial to put eimkeith panhard bar correction kit on?
If it were my rig then I wouldn't worry about it on such a minor lift but I would loosen and retorque the trackbar bolts to get the slight twist out of the rubber bushings.
I have 1.5" out back and it is of no concern to me.
My bar was at a slight angle at stock, I now have a small lift and it's almost at the same angle, rear axle is centered, seems to me I can send back my SRQ panhard correction kit and buy something more necessary. When I put the bar back into place, there was no heavy-duty strong arming, it nearly went back in with no issues. I have a Bilstein 5100 with OME springs, like 1-1.5" lift, doesn't seem to be an issue at all. For reference, this is my 1999 4Runner SR5, not the 2024.
