Panhard drop? Without jack stands?

Can I install the panhard drop bracket while the truck is on all four wheels?
Or should I jack up the back to install?
Does it matter?

No need to jack the truck up unless you need the extra space to work..

Undo the passenger side bolt and swing the bar out of the way. You may or may not need to loosen the other end. Install the bracket and hand tighten top bolt. Then, put the pandhard in the bracket and align the holes up. Put bolt through and tighten all bolts as necessary. Weld all around the top part of the drop bracket. I don't know if welding is necessary, but I think most do.

I will add that it's a good to cut a pipe fillet to go where the PHB was (where the PHB drop bracket bolts on) so you don't crush the mount.

Definitely weld the bracket on. Some of us have cut a brace and welded that on to brace the drop.

You will probably have to remove the tire to properly weld on the drop.

If you have difficulty getting the bolt back thru the drop/PHB, you can rock the vehicle and push the bolt thru. Do thin with the tires on and on the ground. Use washers to fill the gap between the PHB and the drop.
