while any company can mess up,
it's how they correct it that makes or breaks the customer relations. One would expect a small company like Partznet to be much more on top of things and to bend over backwards to correct an oversight so as to build a customer reputation. Calling a customer back to chide about the one month delay in inspecting the shipping is not only rude but short sighted. If large mail order companies like Cabellas or Land's End or Bass Pro Shop can do it with clock like precision, they ought to be right in line.
My response back to them would be...
"I apologize for waiting a month to open and check the package. I assumed your comapny could count to 12 when I ordered 12 filters and would ship the correct number to me. Apparently, I was wrong to assume that your employees could count and should I order anything from you again, which I severely doubt, I will certainly open it right away and check everything just to make sure you didn't FUCK IT UP!"
