Passenger Dead Pedal?

Hey

Has anyone seen a passenger dead pedal like this?

When I upgraded to the 4runner the Mrs wants one of these like she had in the Wrangler.

All I'm finding when searching are posts about the driver dead pedal and the squeaks it can make.

My guess would be to push off of on steep declines... keeping the passenger in their seat. Interesting.

In the rocky desert you get thrown around a lot in the cabin. This simply helps the passenger brace better. The driver has the steering wheel and at least a place to put their foot. In the wrangler allll of the passengers loved to have that pedal.

I was in a bad accident (hit by a drunk) back in the 90's in a Mustang GT. My legs and feet were flung around like a rag doll. If there was something in the way like this foot rest with sharp edges I think my feet and ankles would have been hurt a lot more. For this reason I would not want it in my vehicle.

Okay that's a good one. From the posts I'm gonna go with a no or WTF would you wanna do that for =)

(My wife wants to know if you all actually wheel your rigs. Ha)
