Passenger door lock/window

I have a 99 that has a screwed up passenger door lock and window. It was damaged a few years ago, and my father-in-law took it to "his" body shop. The automatic door lock doesn't function, it has to be locked manually on that door. I was thinking maybe it is a loose wire???

When you use the auto feature to roll up the window it will go up then automatically rolls itself down again. I think it has something to do with pinch protection. The morons at the body shop couldn't get it to work right and I will not take it back to them. Should I put a new motor in it? Or does anybody have any other ideas to fix it?

what u need to try to do is hold the window switch up when its a the top for 5 seconds and see if it will reset it self thats really all u need to do

I gave that a try and it didn't seem to do anything. Any other suggestions?
