Passenger DRL turn signal issue

I have a 2004 V8 Limited with 186K miles. The other day the front passenger turn signal went out. So I replaced it as one does. I didn't think much of it but then it went out again a few days later. I replaced that bulb, looked at the old bulb and it seems fine. I've checked all the fuses and they are fine. Rear turn signal works fine. Is this a socket issue and if so how do I replace it? There does not appear to be a quick disconnect from the wiring to the socket itself and I don't really want to splice or screw anything up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I had the same issue with bulbs burning out quickly. There is a tab to release the socket from the wiring harness, I had to unscrew part of the fenderwell and move it out of the way to get good access on the passenger side socket. Once I could get a good look at it I saw the tab. The new socket solved the problem.
