Passenger Side Headlight has water in it and.......

Well at some point my passenger side headlight had some sort of liquid in it as there are dried water marks in them with residue. Im at 40k and my dealer says they cant warranty the part. Never heard of this happening on here so Im wondering what my options are.

I understand that I can take the headlight out and separate it in the oven. Can I clean it, add some silicone and seal it up?

Please give me some advice or a website that specializes in custom lighting where I can get some idea of how to do it.

Its not noticeable but it bothers me enough.

KC recommended what I imagined was possible just no details on how to do it....looks like im not the only one lol.

I think there's a good HID thread here that converts the 03-05's to projectors and HID's. IIRC it was a good how-to including how to open up the headlight. I know the 03-05 headlight is a bit different but I'll bet it'd help...

I cleaned out a foglight on my wife's Land Cruiser, it actually had algae growing in it. I started out swishing a little alcohol in it, but sand and crud came out of every crevice and it was filled with mud. So I ended up blasting it with a garden hose, got an amazing amount of sand and crud out. Then I swished bleach and water in it to kill algae, then I reached in with a frayed bamboo skewer and picked out every crevice. Soapy water, then I rinsed with distilled water, blew it out with compressed air, then with a hair dryer. Then I rinsed with alcohol, blew it out, and let it sit in the sun.

If you have a film or residue, I'd just swish distilled water in it, see how it looks, then dry it out. The heat of the headlight should drive out the remaining moisture, but swishing a little alcohol dries it much faster.
