Passenger window motor going out; replacement options

Passenger window has been buzzing and making lots of noise lately. Dealer says the motor is going. To replace it runs about $500 installed. I opted out and figured I could do it myself for much less. Prices online seem to be under $100. I've also seen threads in the past where the auto up/down switches were installed. Is the switch part of the motor/regulator assembly or totally separate? How difficult would it be to install these? Any reliable places to buy these parts and links to install them?

As always, your help and abundant knowledge are much appreciated!

Have you try a glass shop that do windshields and such, or try an audio or alarm shop, some of them have connections with other shops and willing to do the work.

I'm more interested in replacing the motor myself and while I've got the door torn open, installing an auto up/down switch.

Anyone done this? If so, please forward links since I can't seem to find a solid DIY video on youtube or elsewhere. Also, if you have any suggestions for a decent switch, I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks!!

honestly if you want the auto windows, just get the dei 530t. you can wire it to the alarm so it rolls up when you arm, and crack it open if you want. on the window motor, it think there maybe a rivet or two that secures the motor to the guide rails.
