Pedal Commander vs Sprint Booster

I am going to lower mine to 5 on the green scale. Driving around town its a little to touchy.. Passengers said it felt like I was taping the gas.
I will read instructions as its been a while. But, I should be able to plug controller in and just move it down, correct?
 
I’ve ran my Sprint booster since 2018 on 2 different 5th gens, first on a SR5 for about 15k miles and on my current Limited for 67k miles and counting. No check engine lights or issues on either vehicle. Ran the same sprint booster on both too.
 
Love my sprint booster. Landed in a conservative green2 and it feels just right. No more over aggressive downshifts with the family in the car (that I felt with higher settings).

Kind of fun that this is the same in spirit as a mod my dad did to his 944 back in the 80s. A tuner sold new throttle actuation ‘cams’ that were reshaped to give you faster throttle actuation earlier in the pedal travel. Remember throttle cables? You got one option. No fiddling [emoji3]

I installed the PC38 in my 4th Gen but not my 5th Gen. I used the Sport mode +2 at first because, why not have some fun first. It threw me back in my seat and scared the wife and I quickly bumped it down to where it is now, City mode +2. But it was too late. The wife refused to let me put one in the 5th Gen.

I have noticed no real change in mpg and that was never really a concern as I live 7 miles from work and a tank lasts me 2 weeks with the tooling around I do. The marked improvement in acceleration and response is great which makes my 4th Gen Sport Truck fun to drive again. Pedal Commander definitely delivers the punch when kicking it in Houston traffic.
 
Installed the SB on my Limited 1 year ago. Sport 3 is where I finally landed as well. It makes driving the truck pleasant instead of a chore.

If you're considering throwing money on these, might as well get the URD plug n play MAF calibrator. Gone that route and threw the SB in the closet.
