A buddy of mine was playing with the app while I was driving, set it to the lowest possible setting. Holy cow I couldn't get going at all! Call it grandpa mode. We all got a good laugh.
Anybody got one but didn't like it?
Sprint booster all the way, had it before in another vehicle and it worked well
I've also sold the Pedal commander, but with phones and bluetooth I've had a few issues with customers on those. I tend to lean towards the SB (sprint booster) as it's fully hardwired solution that I just think is more reliable. Again, I can get you either one.
I just took a Pedal Commander out of my 4R. It worked great as far as the pedal response, truly amazing, but the Bluetooth starting causing issues with my radio/nav and caused to start the reboot nonsense again. Took the PD out, reset the radio, no more rebooting. I am considering the SB now because of the no BT.
I've had the Sprint booster installed since Nov 18 and it has made driving the 4runner a much better experience. Simple install, many modes and could be removed easily if needed.
I went with the Sprint Booster due to the smaller sized control switch. It fits perfectly on just one of the empty switch tabs. Pics below...
Do you take these off when getting service at the dealer? Or can you just turn it off and they will have no clue (any codes if they scan and its plugged in but off).
Mine is ninja installed under a kick panel. Would only see if looking at gas pedal wiring.
Just wondering do these units effect atrac or crw control?
