Pelle047 budget build

pretty sure most builds start as "budget" builds, but that we all just cant help but scratch that modding itch we all have. always starts out small, before you know it, youve got a full on 6 inch lift, front and rear steel bumpers, and you realize you dropped over 10 grand in parts alone...........

Thanks, I got from a company called hunter truck gear

Thanks, I'm on it and the price is @ 115.+shipping currently..can't beat that.

A question, I read recently (reading WAY too many posts lately) that someone who mounted one of these said it was "bouncing" because it lacked a top anchor plate... I believe it was a different model than yours but I don't see a top stabilizer plate on yours either...do you notice any kind of bounce with it or is it rock solid?

sorry its taking me so long... i havent had any bouncing issues at all. i did use a torque wrench to tighten all bolts so that may helped but no issues yet.

Had a nice little freeze come through Dallas. Decided to take the truck out and see what it was like.

Looking solid man. I love me some budget build.

Those ebay lights? Did you mod them? Details? :hat:

The only thing I had to mod was a simple "splice and wire" in order to get the halo's to run on the first "click" and the lights to work on the second. Yes they are ebay lights for Super cheap. The bulbs that come with are Crap but the housings are legit

Would you mind elaborating on this, i.e., which wires to splice and such. Im a complete novice in wiring. I just ordered these lights and want the halos to work in the same manner.

Thanks in advance

It's hard to tell from the picture.

Sorry, I took a bit of a hiatus from here, now I'm back.

You'll notice the wiring for the original housing has 4 wires. Just find out which one controls the side markers and you're all set.
