As I posted in another thread just like this. I was sitting in a parking lot in my truck with my buddy when this woman pulled up next to me and opened her door into my sliders with a loud bang. My buddy looked out and down and started laughing at the large crease she put in her door edge courtesy of my sliders and her inconsideration.
If you are thinking of sliders, you need to look at how far the different sliders stick out on the side. Some are real tight to the rocker panel and honestly, I've seen rock carnage on doors above these tight fitting sliders. I like to use mine as a step too. I got the Demello sliders and I like them a lot. Wait until Thanksgiving and the Black Friday sales and you'll get 20% off - that's what I did.

lol what a lamo, I would certainly have considered grabbing my valve core remover, let the air out of all four tires, put the cores back, then waited or at the very least left a mickey note

I park away from other vehicles and I am always amazed how someone will be parked next to me when I am ready to leave. On several occasions I have had to enter passenger side of my 4R because a vehicle is too close on drivers side. What gets me more than the bad parking is the that most of them have no idea they just parked too close to your vehicle.

Yea, I agree a lot of people are clueless. It's scary really. I had another situation at my apartment complex once where I got blocked in by a tesla that hadn't pulled all the way into their spot.. it ended up being pretty funny cause it turned out I was already good friends with the couple who owned it, it never happened again!

Looking for photos and realized I lied, it did happen again! And not with their Tesla but this little Subaru! This may have been a different neighbor, I think the Tesla couple just had that one vehicle. This Subaru wasn't so bad, had enough room to angle in. I've got pics of the first time which was worse but they're buried in photos somewhere.
