It really all depends on what look and wheel you are going for. 17's come commonly in 17x8, but can be 17x9, 17x8.5 and 17x7.5. I would say stick with 7.5, 8, and 8.5 since the 9 is a bit wide for my personal preference. Also I'd go with a wheel with backspacing from 3.75-4.5. That will just depend on where you want the wheel to end up. Since you are LT and have fiberglass flares I would use 4.0 backspacing and a 17x8 wheel. I'm getting 17x9 with a -12 offset Level 8 Strike 6. That equals out to a 4.5" backspacing. There's a chart that's very useful I have saved. When I get home I'll post it up.

Here is that chart I was talking about. I've seen it around a few times. Tacoma world has a few good threads on tires and wheels...pretty helpful.
