Performance Chip or Headers? Worth It?

Is a regear worth it if you're not going over 33" tires? Or does it have to do with the weight of armor and a roof rack?

FWIW the guys over on Mud were able to show significant gains with DT headers on a 100. I was skeptical, but at least they have some dyno numbers to back it up.

IMO - if you want more power and less mpg either re-gear or save a few more pennies and trade for one of these:

you mean more mpg?

Did anyone ever answer this? I'm running 33s with a 3in toytec lift. Should I regear it? If so what do you recommend?

Eh... I'll say that when driving around normally (city and highway) a regear is in my opinion completely unnecessary.
That said, in L4L/4L with 33s, even 1st gear can seem just a hair too quick for super precise control. I find myself riding the brake a LOT to maintain control, more than i feel I should have to.
Still not really necessary in my mind, though for me it's more a matter of "do I really need to spend the money to regear? No. I get by just fine now"
