I had a great time last year learning all about offroading and learning how to drive under in crazy situations. I started with a stock 1991 4Runner. By the end of the year, I was lifted 2", armored partially, locked in the rear and tubed on the doors during the warmer months. So as it stands now, this is what she looks like.
I started a paint idea that has evolved a bit in my mind, but not on the Minnow. I have a million ideas in my head, but when all is said and done I have plans for the Minnow to look a bit like this:
So I guess I need to start 2013 with a plan.
Finish Armor: Addicted Off Road sliders and rear bumper
New tailgate to replace the one I destroyed in Moab
Paint interior with truck bed liner
Get seats reupholstered with marine grade material
Wrap all interior wiring and organize
Install extra seat in rear bed (I haul kids often.)
Cut top off from behind rear windows
Finish body work around where top was cut off
Cut up fenders to fit 35" tires, finish body work
Start roll cage with roll bar in the soon to be cut off section of the rear.
Custom soft top over the same area
Rear leaf spring set up, maintaining the 3" lift.
SAS the front with Toyota solid axle and 3" lift leaf springs.
BFG 35" KM2
Hydraulic steering pump and high steer
Repaint the exterior, I have several different ideas.
4.7 transfer case gears and dual sticks (maybe)
I have lots of other ideas, but these are the ones at the top of the list.
Updated pic as of 10/11/13 with Wicked Trail Fab roll cage, custom sliders by SVD, chop top (still in the works. Up next is rear bumper, SAS and regear.
