I know you are looking for a toy front axle but I picked up a chevy dana 44 for a hundred bucks and it will match your rear axle better width wise. Flat top knuckles and some cromo axles and your ahead of the game. Just my 2 cents.

Nice build up!! The SAS should work a lot better for ya (should also be a factory option IMO) I really miss my 82 & 85 trucks... Nice job. J.

I have the axle. Now I'm collecting suspension parts for RUF and Chevy 63's.

I finally sold the IFS lift. Hopefully I can get to buying some parts soon.

It sucks not having money to buy parts. When ever you do get money life happens and the extra money buys food or that overdue bill.
I recently sold my Trans am i had for over ten years to fund my build and pay bills.

Keep up you'll get all it dont happen over night

Ok, so the Minnow is now suspensionless. Need to get some leafs and hangers next. Of course the rest of the IFS needs to come off, but that will only take a few minutes with a grinder.

A few minutes with a grinder!? More like hours upon hours with a grinder. Took me a long time to grind my ifs down after i took a plasma cutter to it. Maybe I just like it to look factory and completely smooth. :nod:

Pro tip: It is we worth the beer money to get some of your friends over with grinders. Or Mt. Dew for the kids. haha

The storyI neglected to tell is that while attempting to lift up the rear to pull the suspension, the front fell off the jackstands. So then I attempted to get it back up on the stands and the high lift fell to the side slamming the Minnow to the ground once again and almost through the garage door. So after using a come along to pull the whole beast away from the garage door. I finally got it back on the stands. Well that was fun. NOT!!!!
