A very sad day. Due to some impending doom and gloom bills, The Minnow is now in pieces on the Colorado Springs Craigslist. I have a student loan that has to go.
I AM NOT DONE!!!!! Just starting over. I'll look to pick up a 1st gen or 85 to 95 pick up or maybe even another 2nd gen. Till that time comes, I can play in the Sammy which will benefit from the fire sale with a new Weber carb and some decent rubber. Next project will be more suited to my needs than it is my eyes.
If any of my parts interest you, PM and we'll see what we can do or you can also contact me through the Craigslist ads.

Aaaahhhh yyyeeaahh sammy time! Just put a set of toy axles under it and wheel it. Also, look into a Harley CV carb. A buddy runs one on on his sammy because the weber couldn't handle the angles.

I thought so. So far I have got a nice chunk of change from the parts. Bought new tires for my Durango, bought a 90 Ford Ranger for my son to build and all the parts I have put on the Sammy so far.

The Sammy build is going to be quite differetn from the Minnow build.
I call it "LOW and SLOW". The plan is to run 215/75 MT tires with a locker (front and rear) and gear reduction. I will do a mild lift, but that is only to make more room for the tires to move up and down. I already installed a Weber carb, new shocks and I am rebuilding the axles.

I agree, "project guppee" perhaps. It's gonna be a lot easier to trailer that thing if you need to, hell you could probably roll it up into the bed of the ranger
All of the short jokes aside I'm pretty excited, that is gonna be a nice little wheeler
