As a follow up, I received the eBay bulbs mentioned above. About 30 minutes of swapping bulbs and reviewing this video and I had everything swapped. I don't have the puddle lights since I am in an SR5 so I have a few spares.

Did you try turning the bulb 180 degrees? LED's are polarity sensitive, incandescent bulbs are not.

Same here, they "work" but the output is pretty weak. I switched my 2010 rear lamps to the 2014 LED's and tried them in the new housings as well, they seemed to have less light output in the new housings. I'm going back to the GY6.35 landscape bulbs, I need/want lots of light when backing up in the woods.

Unless you're doing a "True" projector retrofit kit, you would be reducing light output (focus on road) with LED or HID bulbs. Our headlight assemblies are designed for halogen, installing anything else, although brighter, will blind on-coming traffic due to lack of light focus. Ever seen an on-coming vehicle with HID's, you can't see sh!t..........I hate them!
As far as tail lights, check out VLEDS or https://www.superbrightleds.com/. Keep in mind, if you're replacing say brake lights, you want a red LED, white has a tendency washout light output. Also, turn signals will hyper flash if you don't add a resistor, that's because resistance is lower with LED's and ECU will think bulb is out.
For me, all my (interior/exterior) LED's are rated at 5K (including BD light bars), a nice white light! The only incandescent bulbs I have in my truck are headlights.

I just put these in and I think they are way brighter than stock. I also replaced the license plate ones and the Phillips festoon bulb for the rear. They're great. I also replaced the DRLs and low beams. Got the yellow Philips for the fogs. Love it!

I kind of had the same initial impression as NEExpo. The light thrown directly behind it a LOT brighter/whiter than stock, but not as uniform, and not very well aimed towards the ground behind you.
I decided to try another set of Cree LED's for the reverse lights. They seem a little brighter, but more importantly, they have much better dispersion than the Phillips 921 Reverse LED's (was clearly visible when comparing / Phillips had a hot spot in the middle of the reverse light lens, these Cree's light-up the entire reverse lens evenly like a floodlight):

They use a total of 5x Cree 5Watt LED's per bulb (4 facing "out" around the circumference, and 1 facing back through a lens) - and they are LONG!! But they fit with oodles of room to spare in my '13 SR5 reverse light location.
I was a little worried about their high 25Watt rating, but seeing as the reverse light fuse is 10Amps, even with 50Watts of LED's that's less than 5 amps of draw. I'm not sure, but I believe the stock incandescent bulbs were around 15-16Watts each...

No worries, my bet is you will be lucky if each bulb takes more than 5W each.
With white LED efficiency 100+ lm/W at 25W this bulb would have to give 2500 lumens - more than most headlight LED bulbs. Never happened.:bravo:
"25W rating" is a simple marketing BS. There are 5 LEDs in there, each LED has "absolute maximum value" 5W to run though it, however it can be possibly done only by submerging it in liquid nitrogen. There is no heat sink in the world to take such amount of heat from this tiny LED chip.:shrug:
BTW look like most ebay or amazon sellers carefully avoid giving you the correct information such as actual lumen output or actual power (amps) taken. If they tell you this, then the product wouldn't be so attractive.:behindsofa:

Lol - Sounds a lot like the stupid audio power-amp and speaker power ratings that are completely worthless on most crap consumer audio gear. Like an advertised "2000 Watt Mobile Power Amp" and it has a couple of 20 amp fuses!!! How's that going to work if you know Ohm's law? 
Just like here with the frenzy of "over-rated" LED's - I guess one needs to know a bit about what they are talking about to buy with any confidence (as I do with my high-end audio and recording equipment )...
Regardless - these Cree LED's are doing the trick for me for now (and as mentioned, seem to have better dispersion than the "well respected" Phillips ones I also tried). I will say the Philips do have better "build quality" and snazzy P.O.P. packaging...

Just tried to install the Philips LED 921's, and they wouldn't fit right, the base seems a bit too fat for the connector. I tried putting them in as far as they'd go but they would not turn on for me. Am I missing something?
So I replaced my reverse lights as shown in this thread & the one below. These lights are no better, maybe even worse than the stock lights. This thread is several years old, so maybe those lights are out of date. I did a google search & these are the most recent that came up. Does anyone have a better option, that doesn't cost an arm & a leg?

If you really want more backup light, without aux lights, look at getting the Diode Dynamics tail as turn module. It was one of the best mod's I've done (granted I haven't done many) since I back up my long driveway into my garage every time I get home.
