Photo Timeline of my 4Runner {LOTS OF PICS}

Marlin or Inchworm are great I have a marlin dual case setup in my 84 and personally have always had good luck with marlin but not everybody has. with either way you will need the tocobox adapter and then the turbo tcase should bolt up to it and your good to go. The turbo case is stronger than the t100 case by far as it is gear driven and not chain. Great turn around!!!!

I cant tell you how many parts are in the garage that I got and either they didn't work or I changed direction. I would think you could sell both your tcase's and be good to go. I need more friends with turbo trans and tcases laying in their yard. LOL
 
I'm gonna be needing liftgate access for my coming endeavor, so I finally got in there to replace this guy (new one has been sitting in my cup holder since January)

Yes! Excited to see how it turns out!

I was at my friends shop today drooling over my friends 3rd gen going up on 40's... weighing my options... still more and more research to do lol as always.

lol not quite going with 40's for my build...it'll be sitting pretty on 35's...maybe 37's when its tire time again

Also have the front frame all bare metal and ready for the frame plates tomorrow. Waiting to get the axle to the shop to start to mock-up the whole thing and make some measurements!

Frame plates welded, steering column and steering shaft installed. Link mounts and steering box clamped in place. Rolling the axle under on Wednesday and assembling the links for mock-up and measuring and inputting the values into the 3-link calculator and see how we're looking!

I've been telling people a month or two ETA but this thing is close to halfway done...I think she'll be driving by August! :bigok:
 
aaaaaaaaaand Inchworm Gear Transfer Case adapter is ordered! Marlin wanted $50 more and I just wasn't feeling it about buying a drivetrain adapter from Trail Gear.
 
Glad to see that it is progressing quickly man. :thumb:

I swear, your gonna me mostly done by the time I get your front diff haha.
