LAND CRUISER COILS!!!

I'm up 4 whole inches from the 2.5" lift, so taking the sag into account I would say these lifted my truck between 5" and 5.25" over stock!!


....nowww and unfamiliar predicament for 4Runner guys...I need to level out the FRONT now! :bonk:

That looks great, Im supposed to go over to my friends tomorrow about 4 or 5pm and put mine on, I also got the extender for the brake line, gonna do that too.

well, for the front you could always do what I did and call up darrick at toytec.

lol yeah, i got that... i meant it makes sense cuz that means that Just the "coils" puts you at 3-3.25" of lift.

which was what im interested in cuz I dont have a body lift.

I was subtracting the body lift height to see what I can expect on my runner tomorrow :biggrin2:

Like I said, looks great! I love the "rake" look! you and Sn0wrunner should just leave it like that! tons of rake in the back! :bouncy:

lol no it's still a 5.5" lift dude...you're thinking about it the wrong way...if you minus the body lift, the coils still lifted the truck 5.5", its just that the fender would be at the 41" mark instead of the 43" mark. But the stock fender is around 34.5-36".

Wow, what year LC coils did u use? I wasn't looking for that much lift in the back, my coilovers will only adjust to 3.5 and I don't want to put more pressure than that on the cvs

They're from an FJ80 (94-97) but mine are SE springs...look for a set of 2wd springs for less of a lift

It's great to see what your truck has gone through, love the pictures and everything you have done to the truck. One thing I noticed was that in the "mudding" pics there is so much mud on the headlights the 12,000k HIDs look like 3,000K. One mod I would suggest is to put an HID kit in those KC's, once you get the grille guard back on of course

yeahh I've been wanting to do the HID kit in the KCs...Just gotta get that thing fabbed up to fit and it's on!

It's amazing all the stuff you can do to a 4Runner. Nice job! At what point would you say you went from a vehicle to a rig?

I would say around the time I did the 2.5" coil spacers...at that point I had the oversize tires too, so that's when it started being more truck-ish

and thanks to everyone else for all the compliments...I'm really happy with my truck, just gotta do the OME front suspension so it doesnt look so funny ahhhh I cannot wait!!

I know exactly what you mean. It's rigs like sn0wrunner's that influenced most of the stuff I did to my truck. Now it's cool to be on the other side of that.

my truck isn't even close to the extent of what you can do

my T4R is mild compared to the likes of MillerPKA, Sn0wrunner, and genyoshida to name-drop slightly :cheers:
