On our rig we have a Victory4x4 rear bumper and a driver's side swing-away. On that swing away we have a double can carrier and hi-lift mount. Our spare tire is still in the stock location.
I've jerry-rigged a way to put a trash-a-roo on the outside of the can carrier, but whenever I need to access the cans for fuel or water, obviously the trasharoo has to move.
We're thinking that a rear ladder is in our future for the passenger side of the hatch, but we're also looking for other brands/styles of trail/camp trash bag that'll allow us keep our trash in one spot, without limiting access.
What do you use/how do you mount it?
if we ever get around to adding another swing-away, with a spare tire mount (if we go up to 33's-34's, for example), we'll be able to easily add a trasharoo to the tire, but that's a pricy upgrade, and we're not sure we want two carriers back there yet.
