Looking at getting cb and two fire stick antennas, and id like to see the way the 4 foot and 5 foot look. I don't want to get the 5ft if it's going to look to tall.

Post pics if you got them, thanks.

It depends on where you mount it, but if you have a Driffter/ODL mount, a 4' looks/works good. IMO. You'll most likely be snagging a 5' on branches like crazy no matter where you mount it. On my CBI bumper, I was snagging a 4' a lot so I changed to a 3'.

Yeah it will be the ODL driffter mount. I'll just go with the 4' and see how it works

Heres my 4' firestick with a spring.

Here is my 4' firestick on the Drifter mount. I am not sure why you want to run 2 antennas. Our trucks are not wide enough to have proper seperation and will end up with a very directional signal. You will be fine with just the one. If you want a second antenna add a Ham radio.

I like having it on the front bumper. Without the roof rack it is the same height as the roof, so I use it a lot as a guide for getting into parking garages. Its a good measuring stick.

Such an epic picture.

I already orderd my drifter mount

I would also recommend the no ground fires stick set-up. It's pretty dummy proof which I like. I got mine on amazon. It was 10-15 more than the standard one but worth it to me.

I have the drifter mount. works good. I am happy with the 4' and plan on getting a spring, but my antena seems to come loose (not the mount) every few days. is there any type of lock washer that would prevent me having to make sure its tight every few days.

I have read if you go to short the vehicle will block the range there capapable. but I have no experience cause I dont have it tuned yet and all I seem to hear is jabberish on there. (noob CB owner)
