Been trolling this site for awhile now and just picked up my 2nd (3rd in family) 3rd gen 4runner. Got a good deal on a 2000 SR5 4x4 v6 auto with only 102k on it. Pretty excited. Not going to make a build thread because my progress is going to be pretty slow but right now just working on the cosmetic stuff. Just did oil trans transfer case and differential fluids. About to do spark plugs and fuel filter as last owner didn't remember mileage when these were done last (if at all for fuel filter). Plans are pretty simple for now, drivetrain in great shape it looks like so focusing my attention on the simple cosmetic stuff i.e. painting bumpers and rims, LED dash lights, replace stock radio. Eventually will do a lift but I'm a college student and need it as my DD so I want to keep it as efficient as possible (not that it's ever very good with these...). Lots of great info on here look forward to gaining a lot of good info and insight from everyone!
