No i'm going to leave them on for protection.

I remember seeing a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf on El Toro Rd. I don't remember what cross street, but the top of the building looks like an old western water tower. I am going to stop off there before meeting at Cook Corner so if anyone wants to go or meet at that coffee bean in that shopping center you can't miss my rig. 06 black 4runner covered in mud. anyway if cooks corner works for everyone then thats the meet spot.

10 a.m. works for me. I will be parking in that open lot behind cooks corner off of Live Oak Canyon Rd. Its practically right behind cooks corner.

Just started pouring here(6:30p.m.) i almost want to go get new tires friday but my wife will kill me if i do.:chair: (told her i would get new tires when the stock crap wears out) depending on how long this storm is here we might have a mud run :dancin:

i have a recovery strap, shovel, pick, and trailer hitch mounted recovery ring. Trail does not require airing down tires.

Just a suggestion, if anyone has any two-way radios it will be good to bring them along for communication. We can set to a specific channel. I have a pair and bring will bring them,

BTW: What type of CB radio do you have?

I am almost ready to order Midland 75-822. Never had a CB but would be nice addition. This one is hand-held. What I don't know what type of antenna I will need to extend the range. I am trying to call Midland Tech Support and get some information before I order at Amazon.

I have an old Radio Shack that's been a great performer with great range for years. I wont replace it till it dies. I would then probably go with a Cobra 148GTL. I use a Wilson 1000 antenna arguably the best mag. mount out there. I personally wouldn't use a different one.

I can review the midland and give you my opinion on it, but it will probably take a day or two. I'm not an expert and my opinion would be solely based on gut feel from information gathered from web searches which you of course could do too.

If your only interest in a CB is for trail use then any good quality low end CB would do.

Thanks to Mishaal for emailed me the event. D@mm. I hate to miss this one. It will be fun because of the rain. We will have lots of mud.
