Pics of Indashs in 4runners

I am looking for pics of pop out indashs in 4runners. I am considering running my alpine d310 in my 4runner but am curious to see how people get theirs to come out with hitting the ac controls. Post those pics. Thanks

Why not use a double din unit? Will look much better IMHO.

I will get you some pics this weekend. I have a Pioneer dvd player...I have it in the top slot and although it doesn't 'hit' the A/C controls, it blocks them AND the rear window switch...which I didn't think would be a big deal, but it is kind of a pain in the butt. But I don't leave my screen up all the time...it plays the radio, ipod, and the audio of the dvds even without the screen out.

That being said, I am going to try to figure out how to mount the din pocket on the top to lower the dvd screen about 2 inches and then I am hoping it will be ok.

Not unless your unit has multiple angle tilt feature. My Alpine IVA-W205 has maybe 4-5 settings.

My Kenwood has a few tilt settings and I have it on the 2nd. Without the tilt it probably wouldn't look near as good.

Still, I certainly wouldn't want the hassle of having all the HVAC and window controls blocked when the unit is out.

It doesn't bother me that the ac and windows controls are blocked as long as the vents aren't. If I wanted to use the controls I can just close it.
