I really thought about a lot a different cars/suvs and I just can't think of anything better than a 4runner. After owning a '98 SR5 for 5 1/2 years....its worth its weight in gold really. I've have had the best experience with my '98....it came down to just getting another.
Toyota has really improved the vehicle without altering its style from previous gen's too much. They've done a great job on the '03's +
The 4runner has soo much class and style going for it...The heritage backs up it outstanding build and quality.
Damn, you think I own stock in the company??? I don't! but it takes a lot for me to really compliment a vehicle.
My .02.....and I'm getting tired...good night all.

I'm dying to get my hands on a copy of the Discovery Channels special they had on the two Landcruisers that crossed Antartica. The only two vehicle in the world to accomplish that feat. If anyone knows how to get a hold of that tape please let me know.

I think the color-keyed bumpers and cladding became an option on late 03 models right? When I got mine in Feb 03, it was not available as an option. And I thought all Sport comes with silver door handles and front grill? Maybe it's not the case for the late 03s.
