my friend would like to see if it matches close towards an eclipse head unit.

btw, is the stock nav unit for the 06 or 07 4runner an in dash cd changer or just single cd and single dvd ?

I'm in the process of writing up a thread that describes my installation. Basically you need this for steering wheel control integration:

And this for speaker/amp integration (I have the 10 speaker JBL system):

There is also the issue of the diversity antenna cables. The 4Runner has two cables instead of one and the stock stereo has slots for both of them. Most upgraded systems don't have these slots. I've ordered this adapter by METRA and am hoping it fits correctly.

Fyi...the dual antenna adapter I mentioned above DOES NOT fit correctly. The female ends are both the same size....and the leads out of the 4Runner are different sizes.
