I have a Bluetooth OBDII scanner and the TorquePro Android App. The pair have been very helpful for CEL code lookups and resets. It's also great to set up graphics to monitor my '00 4Runner's (3.4L) performance.
Getting to the problem...all ECM's have PIDs (parameter IDs) for monitoring vehicle systems (as well as GPS PIDs on the Android). I can set up all kinds of graphics, but not being a mechanic, I don't have a great deal of knowledge of what the normal readouts for most of the PIDs should be.
Does anyone have a cross reference of PIDs and expected normal ranges? I'm looking for parameters like:
CO2 Average g/m
MAF g/s
Timing Advance (degrees)
Vacuum/Boost
Fuel Trim bank 1 sensor 1
O2 volts bank 1 sensor 1
and many more.
If there's real smart tech out there that also knows any custom PIDs to read even more data from the ECM please respond as well.
