Pikes Peak region???

So I am still relatively new to offroading in my stock 91. I am looking for a place NOT in the mountains where I can proof my Runner and driving techniques. I got stuck on the mountain twice last year probably doing stupid stuff I had no business doing. So now I am trying to learn BEFORE I do something stupid.

I have replaced most of the stock suspension with OEM parts. I have nice new BFG AT tires and I THINK I am ready to go have some fun. I don't want to climb rocks (yet), not looking to get stuck in deep mud either (yet). I am just looking for some varied terrain to play a little and improve technique. Any thoughts?

Come down to pueblo and you can run it at PMI for kicks. All desert terrain i.e. sand mud some rocks. Lots of variation. Great place to learn. Let me know and i can go out with you since im local in pueblo west now. If you get stuck i can easily pull you out, no worries.

Yep, I'm in the Springs at least till November of this year and I'm on that site as well but I go as ttora4runner over there.
