Yes, it's a black Limited 4Runner. Show isn't over yet but they have done a beautiful flame job on it but then I love flames. They are also putting a slide out tool box in the back, pretty much the same thing I've been thinking about doing to ours.

i don't like the two tone black/silver. overall...it was a nice job. they didn't overdo too much. they put a jao's bodykit on it which i thought looked funny, but i guess i just need to adjust to the look. drivesoft is crazy along with the satellite tv and the monitor under the car. i also hated the green interior trim. i wish our 4runners came with black leather though. be cool if this guy joined our forum because he's studying to become a mechanic, so he'd help a lot around here. just my two cents!

It was a 2005 Limited 2WD V6 like Gryphon said. Personally, I think the flames that they did were nice, but not on a 4Runner. The slide out toolbox was the only nice part of the truck. The rims did not belong on a 4Runner either. Overall, I think they should have left it stock!!

It wasn't too bad, but the slime green flames have got to go!! I guess that had to help qualify it as "Pimp". What were they thinking putting all that greeen everywhere. Sat system was cool though.

Not a big fan of the flames, but the guy who did them by hand was incredible (from an artistic standpoint). I guess for a show car it was a success.
The monitor under the car - stupid.
Green Trim - nasty
Green piping on the seats - nasty
Satellite TV - cool
Drivesoft - cool
Flip down monitors - cool

It was what I expected from Pimp My Ride, and not quite as tacky as most of what they do.

we need a "Lift my ride" show... lol. a good offroading show that grabs our old trucks and puts on a brush guard with a 4 inch IFS lift, some performance mods, a winch, tailight guards a nice roof rack and a GPS system. Add a locker, SAS, some insane 38s for the cooler shows... engine swap into a nice 2nd Gen or Land cruiser... i'd watch it

Thanks for the pics. That front end kit looks kinda ODD and out of place. I guess they can't be conservative on that show... its gotta be.. "bling". Its definitely an eye catcher.

just caught the rerun on mtv. other than all the electronic gizmos that ride is loaded up with, imo the rest of it is :repuke: this puke even matches the color of the green flames on that 4runner. green flames on a black 4runner?! and what's with the body kit, hope it's not a 4wd!

Don't worry about it, it was not 4WD. When they drove it in, it did not say 4WD on the driver door.
