I'm in the process of doing a full install in my 2006 SR5, and the first thing I did was install this pioneer head unit. I'm very impressed with it overall, and it has a ton of great features, but I have experienced a problem with the screen freezing on me 3 times now over the last few months. When this happens, all of the hard buttons continue to work and the display changes/updates accordingly, but none of the touch inputs register. If you detach the face and put it back on it starts to work properly again. It looks like a number of other users report the same problem on avic411.com, and reportedly Pioneer is aware of the problem and there is a firmware update in the works. We'll see how that progresses I guess.
Wanted to throw this out for those who may be considering buying this unit. You may want to see how this shakes out before you fork over the dough for one.
