Hey everyone, I'm taking a trip up to Pismo Beach for my birthday and New Years and am going to hit up Oceano Dunes. I know a whip and flag are required and I've done a lot of research (yes I used the search feature).
Seeing as how I'm not very creative in thinking of a way to mount the whip and flag, I'll probably end up getting those stickywhip mounts. Where do you get the antenna and flag though? I've looked online everywhere and can't find anything basic that doesn't have LEDS and other stuff on it. From what I've read, I know you can get them at local shops up there but I'm not sure if they'll have the mounts or not. I'd order the stickywhip mounts but I'm not sure if the antenna will be 1/4" or 5/16"..etc. Any ideas? Thanks!
On a side note, do you have to be there pretty early to get in? I've heard they have a capacity now? Thanks!
